Getting around to mounting up that grapple & rotator I got for the winch/arch log getting thing I built last winter DSCN7567.JPG DSCN7571.JPG . It's a little bit of a "plumbing" challenge but it looks like it will work well. Hopefuly soon I'll have some action pics after I'm done chasing down some more hyd. parts. DSCN7580.JPG

The height is gonna make that productive if you can counter the weight.
Watch cornering with it up that high and a jag on. Lower it going around corners.
It will have a tendency to flipyurazzover like a rag doll.

For sure! I had just "hung" it yesterday and was putting it through it's range of motion to see if all my previous guessing on where everything was going to fit and the angles, dimensions, etc. was going to work. The high lift in my estimation will be handy (while traveling straight) in some situations where the ground rolls. I like to try to keep the logs up out of the dirt if possible. My firewood comes from thinning and most stems I cut are under 12"-14" so no big logs or loads.
