    Cut up some longs and uglies this morning with my Echo 271t. Ended up with a bunch of shorts and uglies. Throw some in the insert and by golly wouldn’t you know the sure did burn nice

    Yes, they do burn great. It can be hard to fit them in tightly for overnight burns, etc. That's why I burn em in the evenings when I'm around.

    No adult beverage yet, but when I get home later I’m throwing in a bunch of uglies and Old Mills! Uglies in the fire and Old Mills in my mouth!!

    Burnt a wheel barrow load of uglys my self today. Plus some scraps from the wood shop.

    Uglies are another thing, those burn well too though.

    For me an ugly is any wood that will not stack well with my regular cord wood. So they get tossed in a ugly pile.

    I did a couple of large odd-ball shaped pieces that just wouldn't split this aft. One of them gave me a hard time but it is now ash just like all the others I usually call them [censored].

    I guess this is the day for a lot of guys to burn chunks. I brought down a bunch of chunks that I had thrown on some stacked wood. It does burn gooder.
