    My buddy next door scored this load today. I'm thinking walnut. Bark looks right as well as a light-colored outer ring. Any thoughts?

    Well here's the bark to a black walnut growing on the edge of my yard. I'm not gonna cut it down to see the heartwood though. Lol. Also a leaf pic for you. Ignore the ivy on the tree.
