Decided I need a trailer tester box and power supply for the field.
So I made my own, and wanted to share .
7 pin and 4 pin rv trailer connector
Connected the flasher/ running lights, aux power and brakes to test on trailers.
Little USB voltmeter to see what the battery voltage is and charge up the phones/tablets etc.
30 AH lifepo4 battery to power it all.
Also 2 posts to charge the battery and have full 30 amp power if needed for anything.
Plan on adding another power port to power other accessories as needed.
example would be for my remote field recording gear.

    Thank you! :)
currently working at a travel trailer dealership and do repairs/ inspections.
    reasoning behind this -
Was using another light tester which worked really well but that was all it did.
There are times where I need to bring slides in on campers that are not close to a power source and instead of lugging a lead acid out to the camper
or jump box I wanted to combine the two into a light weight solution.
Also wanted an easy, remote way to test trailer brakes.
The trailer brake on the box is wired to a wireless relay so I can have the box connected to front of trailer, push the Key FOB and hear if they actuate.
Or jack it up, spin the wheel and see if it stops the wheel.

That’s badazz! And I can see this being an essential service- pulling a camper/travel trailer is no small thing- thank you for helping keep the roads safe for ALL of us!

Can't take credit for the idea. Just tweaked it for me. IPA ( I think) makes something similar, add a SLA and it's turn key.
Plus I took ideas from others like powering fish finders and trolling motors.

Well I have to be honest here. My first thought was here is a solution to a problem that doesn't need fixing. Then after reading your second post seeing as what your job entails and how you use it,. For the average trailer owner IMO it would be used so little that the battery would always be dead in it.

This would've been handy to have last year when I was trouble shooting my 5th wheels brakes.

Yep they are pricey for what you get. Still a nice unit though.
