A little late, but....how many did you roast in December?

37 bags here. December was slightly warmer than normal, haven't even seen any snow or sustained below freezing weather yet.

I'm into the season for one and a half tons of crappy Eco Wood pellets. We pretty much just burn at night.

I put my count in this thread last week, but apparently I'm the only one :)

Amount of pellets used in December is 49 bags, with a grand total for the year at 113

I am going thru a bag a day, it burns as my only heat source. The electric bill last month sure appreciated my stove!

I didn't keep track... some went into the house stove some into the shop heater. Not enough $$$ this season to buy by the ton...

    :headbang: :hair:

Some up here in the NW corner. TSC(barkhamsted) still has 20 odd tons and Lowes had 15 tons of MWP(torrington) last I knew. Lowes always has the over priced GT's.

BT(bristol) and CT pellet(torrington) both had limited stock.

Nearly every TSC store around here has product available. Only 2 that don’t, and of course one is the local store. They have run out a couple time this season. They seem to get a lot more pellet foot traffic than the others. I think it’s primarily due to their location (loads of traffic), plus the fact that they are getting folks from the Runnings store across the street as well.

The local TSC has stuff left (not that it helps you guys in CT). The local Agway also has a whole bunch of tonnage of NEWPs out. Last I knew the local Aubuchon's also had plenty.

TSC IMO is the best value (and is cheapest per bag/ton). NEWPS might be second best if Agway held their price from the fall. Aubuchon's is highest price and not with brands I am impressed with; GS & Oakie Plats (YMMV of course).

I was the local Lowes the other day and the only pellets they had were GS. Not a Greene Team in sight. I was at Sams today where I bought the PTL's. No pellets anywhere. I asked the guy checking receipts at the door and he said they were getting more in.

37 bags pellets, and 36 gals. of *diesel for December '18, totals to-date: 84 bags pellets, 61 gals. of HHO / diesel.

*Have been adding off-road diesel to the oil tank to flush out the old HHO from the last delivery in '17, off-road diesel is burning hotter (and costs the same) vs. #2 oil, we've found.

A Mass TSC had them 10 bag limit, got some more and got my half ton of VT's driven down to me by the VP he hauled em 4 hours, had a good 45 minute talk. Wont say much more as he asked me to shush. LOL Going to try em tomorrow, the bags had were the bad batch. Lucky me, but the mix up ok with MWPs.
