    He is in Amarillo, the splitter is in Commerce, Tx, that is a 400 mile trip one way. Remember, Texas is a big place...

    Actually they are. My eyes on the other hand aren't. Thought it said 800 miles away.

    I should have known better though. I doubt you could drive 800 miles in one direction from anywhere in TX and still be in TX.

    Don't call the kettle black... Lukem's profile shows him to be in Indiana. It is 780 miles from Louisville to Commerce, TX, if he is in central or northern Indiana it would be much farther than 800 miles.

    When I lived in Houston almost 30 years ago, there was a sign on I-10 after you crossed into Texas that indicated it was 815 miles to El Paso.
