I had an early morning today, up before sunrise loaded my bike on the UTE and headed in to town. I meet a friend at his house and transferred my bike on to a bike rack on the back of his SUV along with his and we headed down to Melbourne to ride some of the bike paths along the Yarra river. We took a slight detour to visit the brewery where some of the worlds best beers are made. Then got back at it, sweating on such a beautiful 88F day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
A view from on of the many bridges we crossed. At times it would be easy to forget that you are in the middle of suburbia in Australia’s second most populous city. We headed right down in to the city and had lunch at Southbank over looking the river and sky scrapers. Sweet and sour pork and fried rice washed down with a very nice Ale. Watching all the tourists wandering along the river. It was getting late as we headed back to where we had parked. Some of the bike path is built on floating pontoons it’s strange to ride on because it flexes as you ride across. We had some traffic coming out of Melbourne and watched the sun set as we drove up the freeway on our way home. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
