Saw someone posted a “used” set on CL, and had to investigate. I highly recommend you click here: Birch Logs, Set of 3 + Reviews | Crate & Barrel and read the 200+ reviews. One person bought eight sets! I’m dying
My favorite review so far is the guy who gave it one star: Burns fast This too expensive. It would cost abut $5,946 to last the winter. Not worth it. Ken M 6 Years ago Ken M, you’re the honorary FHC member of the week.
My father in law has white birch logs on his hearth. He acts like the logs are pure gold! As if they are the last on earth. I can see him buying these. Long time ago when my SIL was dating her current husband, he burned the "hearth logs." You would of thought the house burned down. We dont have white birch around here. I would love to get about a cord and everytime he come over, stuff the stove full with it. Just to see his reaction.
How about these? I had scored them couple summers ago and was going to make Swedish torches, but destined for the firepit now!
makes me wonder if one couldn't open up a firewood store in some snooty section of a large city. All the pretty wood available for an arm or leg.
I have several white birch logs that I keep around the stove. I put some in the stove during the summer just to get rid of the black hole of the stove window. I didn't buy them, though. I got them at a gtg at Well Seasoned's, a few years back..
This could work! I could picture the salesperson asking for what type of fire they’re interested in…a passionate night on the floor in front of the fire…a Norman Rockwell family Christmas… “These logs were raised organically and harvested humanely in Rutland, Vermont…” and the sales guys dress like this:
Here’s one that still thinks that they’re fake: Nice looking faux logs I bought 2 sets of these to go in my fireplace since we don’t use it. They look great and give my family room a cozy feel! I’ve gotten so many compliments from the neighbors that they have purchased some for their homes! Erica4 Years ago
