I was gonna haul out the splitter today and woke up to a dark dreary ugly day! Yesterday was perfect too. Guess the wood pile gets to wait longer.

Keep that rain to the north! I need to put brakes on my daughters jeep before she goes back to college.

Right where I want to be.
Forecast is calling for the whole week to be hot and at least partly sunny, Pete.
Try to get out early and you'll be gooder to go.
That's my plan. We'll see if it pans out.

Ya same here, and the back of the truck is full of split Elm, which needs to be removed as I have a gig to remove more Elm in the rounds asap. I just need 30 minutes or so break in the rain( or at least slow down to a very low drizzel) to toss the splits out of the truck.

Put the tail gate down throw the old girl in reverse and jam on the brakes.

It was funny Pete. I watched the radar and almost all of it broke up before it got to us. Some skirted probably a mile or two north of us but that too broke up as it moved east. We went to Clio mid-day. It rained very lightly part of the way there but only 3 or 4 sprinkles while we were there. You could see the dark clouds to the west but nothing reached that far east.

Its been on and off all day here nothing serious at all but just enough to stop me from doing anything outdoors.

We could really use that rain here, it's been really dry since June ended. But it does stink when you have a good day in the woods planned and Mother Nature says no!
