    2 old homelite chainsaws

Just saw this post. Not sure if still available - but if anyone interested thought I would supply link.

Just curious how old are these saws?

Those are clearing bows, the saws are late '50's - early '60's.

Thanks. I am not in the market to buy them but curious - with info listed is that good price? Looks like sort of cool display piece - old saw next to stove in den (I am novice to vintage saws) - not sure if they are very common - assume not super rare due to age.

The bows are probably worth more than the saws.

Those are pretty cool items. Price is a tad steep IMO for non-runners that are most likely destined to be wall-hangers or scrap. Even running they really are not a practical tool as saws 10-20 years newer can be had for the same or even less $$ and the performance is night and day.

But those clearing bows look so good on them, too bad they are a good 4 hour ride for me.
