Anyone know where I can get a new cover for my Fiskars x27?

They don't seem to sell them on the website.

Just the plastic head cover with the handle and little plastic latch?

    Just the plastic head cover.
It's surprisingly fragile when you forget it's attached to the axe and you try to split wood with it.

I'd actually take any type of cover. Any suggestions?

It shouldn't be hard making one out of leather either.

LOFL. That is good. That sounds like something I would do Lumbering! Lumbering. I see your sig says future Jotul Owner. What do you burn in now? If you do. And when are you getting the Jotul?

I have a lopi leyden that I'm not very fond of. It's too finicky for me.

As soon as I can set aside enough saved, I find a craigslist deal, or if someone buys the Lopi, I'm getting a Jotul F55, F500, or F400.
