    Got a permit today to get after some of the storm damage wood. I'd estimate we got 80% alder and 20% fir. All within 100yds of pavement.

    That's great. It's the time like that together that I really miss.

    Permits are $20 and good for 2 cords. Limit of 3 permits a year per person.

    Keep up the good work. I really also like the looks of that road. In MI, finding something like that where one cuts wood it would likely be all sand with cordroy through the bogs.
