    One thing I noticed is that 10 cords of wood per year is either a lot of work or a lot of money! I am not disagreeing with the amount. Wood heat is great heat but just getting it and bringing it in is a lot of work?

    Do others deep fry french toast? Husband does that with pancakes too, ick. I use a pat of butter or a few drops of oil. How do you guys cook it?

    A lot of greasy and/or deep fried food is delicious to me, but I'm not a fan oily french toast or pancakes.
