Does anyone know the exact specs for a bolt to plug the comp release on my 372xt and 550xp. I never use this feature on either saw, and it astounds me that they would even put one on a 50cc saw.
I don't get it either. I honestly can't tell the difference on or off on my 450. I do wish I had such a thing on my old race snowmobile though. Pulling that thing with stupid high compression would leave blood blisters on your palm.
I have a few in my shop, I will try to figure out thread size if someone doesn’t beat me to it. I know you can get them on eBay for cheap.
I agree Tamarack Compression releases on small saws are just a place for future problems. I often remove and plug.
