I've noticed these at the local grocery a couple times, but didn't look closely until the last trip in. $3.99 each, and they look almost identical to Super Cedars. SS have to be less than that, right? Dang it, now I can't find the pic I took. I'll blame the phone. Didn't happen, I guess.
Sounds like a Qwik-E Mart price; I think the SCs come out to about 75 cents if you buy a box. Must be some wealthy campers up your way.
I think a lot of folks just don't want to mess with prepping kindling but if you've got the right materials, you can start a fire with a match.
I love the super cedars, bought a big case of 100 2 years ago. I use them for the stove without kindling and they light right up. Also love them for fire in the pit outside and to light brush when limbing up trees I dropped. Just 1/4 of one lights a fire very easily.
I have a cabinet shop next door with a giant sawdust collector, I should go into business. Between the sawdust and the waste oak I should grind it all up and press logs. It pains me to see all the wood go to the landfill, I sort a few huge crates for kindling throughout the year but still....
Yea theresome copies but if u want more than one sc are cheaper shipped. You can cut pieces of fire log off for brush piles. I do it all the time. Dont light as easy but way cheaper.
