I've had this small hatchet for several years that used to belong to my grandfather. I looked it over the other day and found a partial embossing on it that I finally figured out was Colclesser Brothers in Eldorado, Pa. I don't think it is a rare item, but I will be careful with it.

The embossing was not a clean strike and it took quite a bit of internet research to figure the first half of the name. I am looking to see if anyone has information on this, as there does not seem to be a lot of information on it. My research will continue, but it will involve reading blogs and blade forums it seems. The company seemed from what I have read, made knives, hatchets and axes.
