These are re-bagged Hamer Hot Ones. From Hamer Sales Manager Todd Webb:

    Good Morning Stephen,

Yes, we did supply these pellets and they are the same production as Hamer Hot Ones as we only have the one plant in Elkins, Wv.

Lowe's picked these up in July.

We do not have any additional orders set with Lowe's as corporate places all orders and only purchases based on landed cost. While I am a consumer as well and need to save every penny when possible it is also as important to insure you can get Hamer Hot Ones throughout the season please attempt to support the local dealers when possible as they bring in Hamer Hot Ones year round and have access to them year round.

Thank you for your support of Hamer Pellet Fuel Regards, Todd Webb Sales Manager Hamer Pellet Fuel

Overall...I like these bad boys and I would have bought a ton if they weren't $230 (I'm cheap!)... I saw someone posted somewhere else that he doubts that they re-bagged Hot Ones ....well, I can only go by what Hamer said in the email and have zero reason to doubt that.

Very well done and thanks for sharing. Looks like a nice box store pellet to keep an eye out for. :)

They only had one ton of these left at the MacArthur Rd. Lowe's. The one bottom corner was ripped and wet I think. I need these at $209 (or less) a ton to buy them though....lol
