I think of this everytime i use my pressure washer. I only have a 25 ft business end hose on my pressure washer. So the thing doing the cleaning gets dirty sometimes too. So what do you guys think is a good cleaning habit ? image.jpg

Also... This great Honda motor came with a crappy no name non servicable pump that quit after 2 years :(. I fixed that ! Had to do some tricky welding to fit it :). Btw.... In my opinion... Cat pumps are tops. The pump cost more than the whole entire unit cost me 5 years ago though :) but its smoooth ! image.jpg image.jpg

I wipe mine down when it gets dusty/dirty. I can't say I ever thought about washing the pressure washer with the pressure washer though. :)

I wash mine with mine. It's an Excell unit with a Honda engine. Close to $900 new and after 7 years, I still hit it with the wand once or twice a year.

I do it after I start it, so I don't warp or crack the block/head. But it still looks great after 7 years :)

I also have 50 ft of hose.. So it doesn't get super dirty, but I still blow the dust off of it.
