I have a three story 8 inch triple wall that lets my big indoor furnace breathe. I clean the chimney in the fall and once mid season. I forgot to clean the section from the stove to the chimney, pretty much everything on the picture. Yesterday I found the lower elbow on this was half full of ash by error The upper remains closed, for better heat transfer forcing the flue gas down and back up. I let the fire burnout and disassembled and cleaned tonight. I brought home a infrared camera tonight and shot the whole stove. Shot this shortly after I started it. Thought you guys would enjoy.
