Responded to an ad on Craigslist and loaded the truck up with some free wood. I know it’s not the best firewood out there, but I love cherry. 8BAB88EA-3273-4141-9554-BF3BEB657BF3.jpeg

Really nice score. One of my favorite woods.

Cherry may not be the best, but it’s way up there in my book. Great hoard. ASNR!

If you feel like it’s not worth burning I will take it off your hands

I usually end up cutting some but it is not my favorite.

Looks nice. When I get some, I keep it long and split it small for the fireplace

I burned quite a bit of cherry last year. Not the hottest burning wood but it seasons fairly quick and splits awesome.

I like cherry for shoulder season. Doesnt leave a ton of ash in the pan either.

I like cherry because it seems to be the easiest to sell

    $300/cord for it around here.
    $250 for oak and/or 'hardwood'.

Always have cherry mixed through my stacks, very plentiful around here. Not my favorite but by far not the worst.
