I purchased this Shindaiwa EB240 blower years ago for $10 but couldn’t get it running. I tried purchasing a cheap carburetor for it quite some time back but it wouldn’t line up with the holes on the intake. I kept the blower in case I needed parts.
The other day I saw a cheap carb for $12 on eBay and figured it might be worth trying to get it running again.
Carb arrived this afternoon and 10 minutes later the blower was running like a top. [IMG]

I've done fine with sub-$20 carburetors purchased on eBay.

I had success with one from Amazon on a Poulan string trimmer. It honestly runs better than it did when brand new. Go figure.

I bought an entire tuneup kit for an echo string trimmer on eBay for like $15. Fuel lines, bulb, spark plug, carb, air filter. Thing is still going a few years later.

Sometimes it pays to bide your time! Glad you got it running.
