Yesterday I found some 5 cent 224 55gr fmj projectiles at Ammunitionstore.com (can't link from phone).

They are wolf brand, and come in a 4000 count box for $200. Shipping was $20.

With the upcoming election year, I got some for jic purposes. Sure they won't be match grade, but for a nickel, who cares! Wait for a panic, and double or triple yiur investment! This is the cheapest I've seen new, not pulled stuff!

Btw, they have 1000 count for $60 if 4k is too many for you.

I need to start buying components like that. Picked up some primers and powder in November and I've been saving my brass for 3 years. And I cleaned out a corner of the basement during Christmas break to set up a reloading station. Now I just need to buy some bullets. And of course a reloading press, but I don't see a huge buying run on them like ammo and reloading supplies is likely to get. I'm hoping by this next fall to have everything I need.

That's an insanely good price, even more so if you can find "the load" for them.

When the panic hits, reloading equipment all sells out within 24 hours of the ammo being sold out. Used stuff doubles in price instantly. Don't think it'll still be available. Look at it as an investment and a guarantee that you will never be at the mercy of a store for you to enjoy your hobby.

I have reloaded for 25 years and can't recommend it enough. I got in my head that I wanted a .250 Savage and found one last year-great, but I found exactly one box of ammo locally. Heck, I can't even find brass!

What I did find was 70 once fired .22-250 brass in my loading room. One pass through the sizer die, and I'm in business!

I buy components whenever I am in a sporting goods store. A thousand primers one month, a pound of powder the next, etc. I probably have enough components to hunt for the rest of my life with one rifle or another.

Nope, copper. Word (rumor) on the internet is that these are the projectiles in the wolf gold ammo (brass cased, copper jacket)

Yep I fear the election won't go the way most of us want and we will go through several more years of panic and because "She" has an anti gun track record that panic may last awhile!!!

I got into reloading just ahead of the last crazy time that new town developed. I got my stuff but components were then hard to get and some dies were impossible to buy. But I got it all over some time.

Now I need to increase my stockpile of components.

I started reloading in the other Clinton days years ago.
Stocked up when they started talking about putting tagments in the powders. Dont know if tagments is the right word. :picard: Been a long time ago. :jaw:

Tagments -non flamable coded pieces inserted in to powder for tracking purposes which was only one part of that particular scenario.

Oh like those . I think they sell paint with things like that in it that you paint. It has serial numbers in it that you can trace back to u when looked under microscope.
