Interesting product/concept. Can't see ever needing one personally, however I can see a market for it.

My truck is my farm/hunting/ chainsaw/firewood "office". I have some of everything in there, should clean it out but we all know how that goes.... My little chainsaw box has shrunk over the years. I could definitely use one ot two of those to help keep chains straight and orderly.

Just looked them up, I expected it to be around $20-25....they're $36 for one, 65 for 2. IMHO a bit steep, but maybe one of those someday items....

    From their website:

The Chain Locker™ is a universal chainsaw chain storage case for all chains fitting bar sizes ranging from 6" - 20". The 9 precisely spaced and sized tabs maximize versatility making the Chain Locker™ extremely universal. Each Chain Locker can fit just a couple of chains or up to 8 - 16 chains depending on types and sizes of chains to be stored.

Well shoot, that changes it for me. I use 20, 24 and 28" most. Thanks for the additional info, I didn't look further yet.

Yep, if it won't hold the spare 28" 32" & 36" chains I don't see me using it.
If you do keep me in mind as a buyer.

Email the company with your size request. They should see the benefit of a large version. Maybe even a sliding / extendable version would be possible?

Like SimonHS said, write or call them and let them know you'd be interested in a longer version. If they get enough response they just might make some.

Good idea there for sure. I wonder if I could get wheels too. I got more than a few chains.

    Great idea and execution
    But I only run 24"
I'm sure they'll make them eventually.

Bravo to invention but... I was all fired up, I would love to have one but I am shocked that this only goes to 20 inches. If it went to 24", I would think it would meet the needs of far more saw owners. Bummer.

Rather than have two, I wish it was double-sided. One side for sharpened, other side for dull.

Which brings to mind... how do you guys keep dull / sharp chains organized? Not too hard once you are back at the shop but it would sure be nice to have a portable case.

Great idea actually ! Would be nice to see it more 84dl friendly . It would work very well for someone with only a few chains to store .
