    Husqvarna 254.

When I was at GTG there was a 20" chain that package said was for a 254 at the "can you use it table". I snatched it up and it is time to get another chain.
The chain was a PowerCare B78. What I am looking at is an Oregon H78. Pitch, drive, size and everything else looks the same. What does the B and H stand for?

Each company uses their own nomenclature for their chains.

    I’m not certain either.
I do believe that saw was running .325 .050 gauge. And a 20” bar would normally be 78DL.

From a couple sources I just looked at, H 78 appears to be Oregon BPX. Semi chisel cutter and I believe they have a small safety bumper. Very common chain
