Well they put my carport up this morning. It was too wet for me to get the bobcat in there and move my pallet racks of wood so I had them put it out front and I'll move it in once it dries up and I can get in there. They were fast, had that thing done in 45 minutes. Looking forward to dry and easier to get to firewood this winter.

SM, here in NJ they can only tax it if it is a "permanent" structure. I'm sure that can be moved fairly easy, so my guess would be no. "BUT" every state is different.
Very nice!! Those are great, quick structures. Another nice thing is they're also easy to close in if you choose to. Just throw the plywood or other lumber on the sides and walla. But keep in mind doing that makes it a little less wind tolerant Dave, I have that exact carport at work and it's held up to all the snow we've had here in the past few years. It's also stood up to some serious pounding by the wind (work surrounded by fields). Our's is set loose on blocks and staked into the ground with screw anchors. "NOT" permanent
Piney, I've looked at a couple over the years for my side drive way, Somebody in the Vineland area was selling them for $795.00 and I "dam" near bought it, what stopped me was they wanted $125.00 to deliver it to down here, a 40 mile drive. Well that pi$$ed me off and I didn't get it, I'm almost sorry now
They are amazingly strong. Ours turned out to be a barn when we enclosed it. Twice now we've had some pretty good sized oak limbs drop on it. The noise made one a bit scared to look but no damage except on spot on eave trough.

What did the total end up being? Was pretty cheap IIRC when we tossed this idea around in another thread a few months ago. I'm wondering if this would be a good option to top cover my racks.
I just ordered mine today. Its 18x21 and is $695 with 6ft legs. I got one side to the ground for another $150. I did not feel like dealing with 21ft tin is why I did not do that myself . I got mine from carolina carports through a local dealer. TNT car ports is the same and same price and are also made within 20 miles or so of CCI only difference is that they have 5ft standard legs. Mine is for wood as well. They have certified structures and heavier gauge legs n bows for more snow load. You can google all steel car ports and an online dealer for CCI will come up and you can see a price for everything g.
I see you got supports every bow it looks like sean..did u get a certified unit or pay for the extras?
