I'm tired of waiting for the snow to melt and the crappy toboggan thing I have is already cracked. Thanks.

I've been looking for a JetSled all winter, but all of the sporting good stores around here are a joke. The JetSled has nice tall sides and would be great for hauling wood. They are available on line, but shipping isn't cheap. The sled itself is about $50.

Here is the one I use. Bought it two winters ago when I ran out of wood and propane spiked to nearly $4. Hauled about 25 loads of dead standing that winter. Now I just use it to get wood from the stacks to fill up my storage area in the garage when the snow gets too deep for my dump cart.

    Thanks for the tips everyone.
My little piece of crap plastic toboggan broke up but I was just able to get the garden cart and lawn tractor in the vicinity of the log pile...for now.
If not this year, then next year for sure.

been using a jet sled and it works great , they come in 3 or 4 sizes both bass pro and cabelas have them , i got mine at a small shop in nh that sells ice fishing gear. very durable highly recommended and this time of year you may get a good end of season deal.

I ordered a medium size black Jet Sled from duck's Sporting Goods for $49.99. None of their local stores had them. Free shipping on orders >$49.

I have a Ottersled that has been used at the farm for the last 7 years. We have put it through things I thought would break it and it handles it just fine.

I got a pair of 195 Blizzard downhill skis- you could plunk a solid body bin and some framing to hold them apart and support the bin?! That wood would FLY across the yard:yes:

I personally don't like the otter sleds. On a very hard packed trail or ice they do okay. Get into soft snow and they pull HARD!! Gotta be something to do with the plastic.

I built a skid sled with uhmw. You can get a full sheet at menards for 50 bucks. I stack 1000lbs of logs on mine and the atv pulls it like nothing.
