I am new here & looking to see if I can some help on an issue I am having...

My son cleaned our stove & while doing that he knocked off the thermocouple cover & sucked it up. We got a new one & put it on. Now the stove is not really working. If we push the reset button pellets will drop into the pot & they start. It will go through the 1st cycle but then when it turns off it won't restart. The fan will keep blowing but no pellets will drop. TIA

First off, welcome to the board!

So what your saying is the red call light comes on, the pellets drop and and the pellets actually ignite?

When it does not restart, is there a blinking light on your control box? (I think the box is above the red call light.) If so, he probably damaged the thermocouple too.

Not sure where I would find the control box or blinking light.

Make sure the thermocouple wire is FULLY inserted into the white ceramic cover and like BI said there's a chance the thermocouple wire is broken.

The thermocouple wire should be touching the front of the white ceramic cover, that what I mean by fully inserted. Just wanted to clarify.

I'm not familiar with the layout of your stove... only that it uses the same components as my QuadraFire. The manual that slvrblkk pointed you to will be very helpful.

Regarding the lights: the red call light will be very bright red whenever the thermostat calls for heat (wants the stove to be running).
The LED(S) on the control box above it will glow amber and then red as the thermocouple heats up to normal fire temperature.
If you see a continually blinking (about once second) LED on the control box, it's telling you that the thermocouple is bad and the stove will not feed pellets.

You can see the light ,if you look at the back left side of the stove, by the OAK.

If it drops pellets and fires, then don't drop any more and goes out Sounds like the thermo couple.

When you put the cover and thermo back in did you place it out far enough into the burn pot?

Was the thermo wire bent or kinked during any of this?
