    I'd be happy to relocate some to my freezer if that would help keep the range clear. Safety and stuff.

    Bunch of years ago During a black powder shoot we all had to stop, so we could clear the Wild Turkeys off. They were parading back and forth right in front of the various targets. Lot itchy fingers- but not in season. Naturally when season did come around nary a one to be found.

    Actually get 2 deer and 2 elk tags for the homestead. The elk tags are good for 4 months so decent opportunity to fill the freezer every year. I actually did purchase an additional freezer last year.
    We had one of the elk turned into mostly burger and the other was roasts, steaks, pepperoni and summer sausage.
