Finally feeling better after being sick again. Grabbed the MS310 and my saw buck and ran a quick tank of gas through the saw Ash, beech and maple. Should be out there all day, but have several other things to do. Hope the rest of you guys have a good day DCC55DF3-7C37-4CB1-BED1-74C5F2A321B1.jpeg EAC6A703-FE24-4E1B-835D-75D7E159C521.jpeg 0E062453-F8C7-4E94-B167-CA46EE35B28A.jpeg 263B808A-119F-489C-B572-AE5C4AC7AF37.jpeg 6D439286-327C-4B90-9E8D-8CB34DABD98F.jpeg EA44D336-BEAE-4055-B023-F82CABF96B59.jpeg 09161117-6FB4-44BF-B7A1-8527F7FC0D54.jpeg C1B7C05A-CE63-49CE-AB7E-EB350EE4D099.jpeg

I agree, that is one heck of a sawbuck! Nice work, bet it was great to get out into that view to throw some chips after being laid up for a while.

Can you remove the bucket and thumb and replace with a splitter? Or replace the thumb with some type of shear and just split from the seat?

I am actually looking into building a splitter to mount onnin place of the bucket, using the thumbs hydraulics to run the ram. It should be pretty easy, and will work great for larger rounds. I have a decked out American CLS though with the hydraulic lift, so I am torn. Too much travel for work and nonstop cold and flu have put my efforts behind this year already.

Hopefully the colds and flue are behind you now. Think spring!
