I must thank JB Sawman for keeping me cutting by always repairing my saw at his store in no time and getting me local connections with tree guys to cut up firewood…now thats a one stop shop!!
Uh oh withdrawals...not good there Jason. Call in sick and go cutting tomorrow. I can call your boss and vouch for you if you'd like!
Good for you. I always save a certain amount of wood every year now so I can buck it up and split and stack during winter. It does get me out of the house and get some good exercise. I like the old Homelite.
I'm ready for this snow to be gone already! I wanna go out and cut but there's 6"-8" of not so fluffy wet snow out there! I like cutting in a lil bit colder weather but not heavy wet snow, especially this real slick stuff. Went to the new farm store the other day (it was stock & field now r.p home & harvest) looked around and found some 7/32 husqvarna chain files and I'm itching to try em out! I take it you dont have any Huskvarna rain gear??? Dont blame ya. I wouldnt wanna either...well, unless it was black locust!
It wasnt pleasant here either with 4" of wet melty snow and a thin layer of mud on the frozen ground. Ill take cold frozen ground with little or no snow any day of the Winter. Been nice like that the last few weeks here.
