I stopped in and talked to the person manning the lot, I was told cut and remove all the wood I want. :) I'll post some close up pics. I think I'll take the splitter out there so not to pick up any heavy rounds.

Like “just down the road” or an hour +?
Either way, it sounds like a tremendous score!

Ah yes. Armadillo Texas, where it can go from 100 degrees to a foot of snow in a week!

these rounds are to heavy for me. Just a Toyota load for today. I going to see if this yard will get everyone to cut to my stove width and not pile the limbs on top. :)

Yep I had saying when I was down there. The only place where you could be up to your neck in snow and still get dust in your face. Of course I think Wyoming is right there too.

Unicorn1 I noticed you had a 25 ton Speco. It looks almost like mine but you have a horizontal motor. Mine is vertical. I am on the second motor, the first one blew up on me a couple years ago. I have had it since 1999.

Love my Speeco splitter. Not one problem since new in 2001. Just regular oil changes and clean the air filter.
