I need to get the weed eater out and clean up around the fire pit. Won’t happen today.
Punky Alder isn’t the best wood but makes a decent camp fire when dry. Very little snapping and popping.
Hope everybody’s Holiday weekend is going well. [IMG]

Enjoy! Nothing like a camp fire to bring in summer!

Had one myself tonight. Family enjoying the nice day and in-laws coming out of hiding for the first time in a couple months. Nice evening! C084DEEE-108E-47F1-9DD6-3F890B22D416.jpeg

Used our firepit several times already. We grill with charcoal and use the pit to start charcoal and i almost always keep it going.
BTW, you're beer will heat up too fast when that close to the fire!
