Wasn’t really planning on it as I had my eye on a MS461 but was having trouble locating one.

Meanwhile, a friend of mine (that is a Husky guy) sent me this link to a 572XP as NIB. Went and looked at it, haggled a bit and well......came home with it this afternoon.

I’m all for mixed families. It’s good to have dependable backup for a Husky.

This thing is pig for sure. I didn’t really want such a long bar either, but the deal was a little too good to walk away from.

My 362 has been flawless and expect to keep being so. Hope to put it in some wood next weekend.

Your gonna love it. A good friend of mine has one. It pulls a 32 with skip tooth chain very well.

I was thinking about doing that for sure. Haven't looked into where I can purchase from yet as I just brought it home late yesterday evening. Do you have any suggestions for best price on a full wrap?

    :salute:

Guy I bought it from said that was the original tank of fuel that was in it and appears to be 1/2 - 3/4 of a tank....it literally is like BNIB...:dex:

Will probably take a few tanks to reach its potential from what I have been reading. It will definitely be fun along the way....:D

I actually went the other way with my 390XP. Mine came with a full wrap. I went to a standard wrap after I managed to bend the full wrap by grazing it with a sledge....don't ask.   The full wrap was always in my way when cutting the stump down closer to the ground in order to get every little bit of wood out of the tree I could. :)

This has crossed my mind as well. Friend of mine that sent me the saw I bought, has a full wrap on a 372. It's is really nice when felling, so you can hold onto the side but he admitted it does get in the way....

After sharpening the 32" bar a couple of times, I ain't stumping with it anymore. I'll use the 450 with a crappy chain so when I hit the dirt, rocks, t-posts, 55 gallon drums, tire rims, bobcat frames, semi-truck trailers etc, I don't get so mad. Maybe I'm exaggerating a bit with the semi-truck trailers. Never hit one of those yet. :)

  Yeah, I can definitely understand that!

Could always run a semi-chisel skip tooth chain. :D Won't cut as fast though. I run semi-chisel on my 346XP. It holds up better in dirtier wood.
