I had been looking at USB borescopes on Amazon. I saw a guy on youtube using one that he got on Amazon and it looked like it worked really good so I got one. It will be pretty handy for messing with chainsaws. I can take pictures or makes videos of what I am looking at. It also came with a magnet attachment and mirror.

I stuck it down the spark plug hole of a few cylinders.

Now that is cool....Saw King/Chain Saw Guy uses one in some of his videos.A high dollar Snap-On one.

But for my purposes I know this one would work just fine.I'll have one in a few weeks most likely. :D

Wow $24? We might need this for our field service techs at work. They could have one in their travel kit.

The nice thing about this one is you can take pictures or make a video and then you can show it to the customer.

Yeah I can see a lot of good things in that. Our field techs are not terribly computer savvy but they do use their cell phone cameras well. The trouble with a standard borescope is that for traveling it's too bulky to always carry it and you need a hard case to be safe. This thing is very small and "replaceable" in terms of cost.

I also have a big mower and last year the heads were off and the dealer warned me there was scoring on the cylinder liners. I saw it and although it was there is was not huge. I expect at least a few more seasons before it's shot. With one of these I can check on it every year so I don't get an ugly surprises.
