Boat Love

Pulled my old boat out of the weeds....as I need to go out in my pond to set an aereator . Been 10 years since I looked at this old girl.
Seeing it makes me want to strip off what's left of my peeling paint ..and start over. What do you guys think ?
I'm thinking maybe a mix of paint and polished aluminum on the outside.

 

Would you use it? It hasn't been floated for 10yrs.

 

Yes on both. I had it on my pond..no leaks..yet lol

 

My plan..is to get a trailer..registered ...all that good stuff. Cheaper to find something ready to go...but I love a good project lol

 

I would polish it and lose all the paint, paint is maintenance

 

Needs some cannons and a plank.

 

Scotchbrite pads on an angle grinder then zinc chromate as a primer then color coat?
