I have a 2015 Lopi Evergreen stove that came with the house I bought back in January. I've had plenty of hot fires in it, loaded it up with sugar maple, ash, oak, and beech. The blower has never turned on no matter how hot I got it blazing. I played around with the switch underneath, confirmed the outlet I was using was good... to no avail. Where would you guys start to troubleshoot this thing? I think this is a good stove, but I'm not getting all I could be getting out of it without the blower.
I have a Lopi Liberty...but I just bought it used, so I’m not real familiar with it yet. It supposed to fit somewhere between the back of the stove and the heat shield I assume. I’ll have to check my manual out and see. The blower should turn on manually whenever you want it to. However, since you were talking about it not coming on while you’re burning that leads me to believe you may have a bad “snap disc”. I’ve not used mine yet, but I assume the snap disc controls, by temperature, when the blower kicks on and off and I assume this “snap disc” is set for a given temperature. If it’s not coming on while burning then it is likely bad. I plan on replacing mine while I’m restoring the stove to new condition just so it’s new when I start using the stove. Just a thought on something for you to check.
If I connect the two wires manually to close the circuit and the blower turns on, that means the switch is bad, correct?
