Just got update storm alert for Monday night/Tuesday. Now supposed to get hit with blowing snow totaling 20-30 cm (8-12"). Unfriggin' believable.......................Winter has definitely arrived.
Somebody has been saying that when it hits, it's gonna' hit hard. Batten down the hatches. We've lost 3 degrees in the last hour. Not much, but it's starting earlier than expected.

We're stayin' home as much as possible until this passes. I doubt we'll get what you guys will though. Hang onto your firewood.
That would be me saying that, at least one of the people who have been saying that. Typical el nino patterns... Extremes from one end to the other. Looks like we'll get our hit of winter tomorrow. Snow, freezing rain, whatever. They say a few inches. Watch, it'll be a foot.
Racks up here @ house loaded. Supposed to do med appt. drives on Tuesday including 2 Dialysis patients.............that's gonna suck because it involves about 40 mile trip each way. Oh well, has to be done..............
Had to plow this morning......................PITA where ever there is grass as nothing is frozen underneath.
3/4 inch of ice so far and snow falling hurray .. Ice is great even better when snow covered....4 to 6 inches of snow..
Got the blower started up earlier today to make sure it was good. Added some oil and topped off the gas. As ready as I can get.
TWC is calling for 25* and rain tonight WTF ? Kind of thought that chit froze at somewhere around 32 . Whatever, I'm sure I will miss having my vehicle in a garage for the next couple of days. Ride to work shall be fun too at 4:30 am.
Thanks for the reminder. Lots of stuff in the pit that's needed to be burned for a while. Come on, snow!
Freezing rain tomorrow morning, we had 60º this morning when we headed for church at 9. Sitting at 40º now. Looks like we are going to let the stoves stretch their legs a bit soon.
Just went out and fired up the generator, let it run and plugged a few things into it for some draw. I think I heard once that it is not good enough to just let the engine run they need to make some electric too.
