Anyone else have any drastic swings lately. Mother nature is off her meds again here in Dakotah Territory. Today it is 36° and raining, probably close to a 1/4" so far. Tonight switching to snow and 50 mph gusts. In 36 hours AccuWeather says we will be -30°.

We've had our coldest January in about 8 years but we'll have a high around 39 with rain/snow and ice (not sure on the correct order) and then it gets cold again, you can keep the -30.

Big time crazy. Some of that cold will make it here but not as harsh as you will have it. First they say we are in for some snow.

Wind howling still. Rain froze everything into a ice skating rink by midnight and then snowed. 50 feet was all my visibility was this morning on the way to work, luckily it is only just over 1 mile. Vehicles in ditches. Get to work even though no travel is advised by the DOT and we are going. I just am getting my lunch break now and have been running my department and half of the receiving department because nobody from there lives near town and couldn't make it in. I'm beat.

A couple pictures friends sent me showing how today would have been a good day to stay in bed.
