I had finished vacuuming the pool went inside to change, turned on the hose and glanced down to make sure it was in directed into the pool.
As I glance down I stop and do a double take, there is a black snake(could be rat snake of black racer not sure)
hanging around the skimmer basket opening, I watched him for a bit and then saw him flip around and snag a leopard frog from the basket. The snake had it by the leg and the frog started making a squeaking noise, I called the GF to shut down the lawnmower and come check it out, as I went to get the camera, Billy Bob heard the squeaking and came to investigate, spooked the snake who let go of the frog, which returned to the pool.
Guess he was making up for the little bunny he killed yesterday:rofl:

Yeah - he wasn't in the pic, he is a bit timid around snakes.
When we found him running wild in the national forest 7 years ago, we debated a couple days about his name. I was going to name him Bob (his tail was docked/or he lost it/or was born a true short tailed Curr) After some beers and discussion figured we live down south now why not have Redneck dog with a redneck name;)

They (all the dogs) had a "show name" (if you ever watch the dog shows you'll get it) as jokes. None of our buddies are show pups, just part of the family
Yes he is Sir-named Billy Bob Thorton.
