At least I think it was a wolfie. We have tons of them around our creek and I see one of these monsters about once a year. My pocket knife is about 4” long.

I don’t mind spiders so much, but I almost let that one keep my knife! :bug:

See them around my stacks often

    I don't mind spiders n snakes

    I do despise crickets though..

One got into the bedroom wall some years ago.. I threatened to burn the place to the ground to get rid of that hellspawn.

That would be on my stomping list. Now I come across s daddy long legs and it is in the wrong spot, I'll pick it up (well encourage it to climb on my hand) and carry it to a safe place and let it go.

Chaz, our little girl was terrified of crickets and the sound they made when she was a toddler. Before we had AC, we slept with the windows open and had a pretty hard time getting her to sleep at night.

Chazsbetterhalf, I thought if it was tough enough to grow that big, I’d let it go.

    Well, that's a bummer
I assume shes past that now I hope.

I don't mind them outside where they belong, but going on all night in the bedroom wall while I'm trying to sleep.

I was living and working in Athens Alabama when I saw one of those run under the Washer Machine

It’s still a top 5 HS moments in my life.

Chaz not anymore.. That girl loves anything that has to do with animals or bugs and handles earthworms like a true tomboy.

I don’t blame you M2theB. If he was in the house, I’d mush him.

Ugh, nothing worse than a cricket in the house! My stepdaughter somehow ended up with one in her bedroom. Claimed she searched for days to find it. Finally one night I went in her room, and within 2 minutes I had located where it was and had her dig through her bug tank to finally find it, even though she swore it wasnt in there and had already checked.

I don't do big spiders like that or snakes, and growing up in the city cockroaches still keep me up at night. They were BIG and some use to fly, as a kid I was terrified.........

Had a wolf spider last year under one of my pallets, screamed like a you know what..........

I’m ok with spiders and I tolerate snakes as long as they’re not poisonous or too close to the house, but roaches are nasty! I’ve been in houses before where they scuttle out from behind thermostats as you pull them off the wall. :faint:

I can, kind of, handle spiders, snakes, etc., outside. Less so in the house and spider webs are kind of creepy.

I have tons of them around my property. For a while I had a number of fence post holes that were part filled with water - when I filled with stone dust, the water came up and all of the wolf spiders came out with it. I don’t freak about bugs of any kind, provided they aren’t carrying scalpels or hypodermic needles. But it was amazing how many wolf spiders are out there.
