Big maple dropped by power company

    This huge maple was dropped by power company tree crews on front of my property yesterday..

    Have 2 cords of wood being delivered c\s\d today so I have lots to do.. Trunk of this maple too big for me to handle! Loaded with poison ivy too..

    Not a find but a tree on my property next to the road.. Can't imagine how old it is..

    Ray, the ivy doesn't look to bad so maybe you could get it off okay. Can you rent a saw to get it cut up? Dang, if I were close it would be fun to help you out a bit. Might take me twice as long as a good man but I could get it done.

    You should be able to make firewood out of some of that tree .
    Looks like it might be red maple

    I have a Husky 555AT with a 20" bar.. Got it pinched pretty bad but managed to get it out.. Problem is the tree is huge and very heavy.. Will get what I can.. Oldest son would have helped but he is in the hospital so that's a n0-go..
