    What's funny is I can smell the 11 herbs and spices......THROUGH THE PLASTIC. Hahahahahahahaha. Gonna burn some tonight. Not sure if it's just one log or many......

    I thought those were a "limited" one time deal and sold out at KFC, but apparently they are available at WAlmart.
    For the first time the Walmart website noted they were available at my local Walmart and I'm pretty sure that's the first time anything has been available at my local Walmart. I wasn't convinced their website worked right.

    An awful lot of reviews complaining just the paper packaging smells like KFC, that the log itself smells like a usual compressed log.

    Had the inlaws over today for Christmas and got to talking about your post. Sister in law and wife didnt believe there was such a thing. Few hours later during gift exchange low and behold bam, my very own kfc log.

    Well it turns out it supposed to be used as a starter log since it's basically compressed recycled cardboard and wax.

    I did not smell chicken when it was burning but smelled it when it was in the package. I just chucked it in mid burn int the fireplace and man it made it bright.

    Good idea but maybe the execution not so good. And I certainly wouldn't pay $20+ for it!!!!
