image.jpg Thought I would share a pic of the buck I harvested on Nov. 1st with my bow (I only became a member of the forum a week ago :)). He is my best buck, and the second deer I've harvested this year with my bow - I killed a doe in October. With my son's harvest of a doe in October also, I have been busy cutting up meat, and I am thankful for a full freezer!

My family of four (five when my son in college is home) goes through about 3 deer a year, depending on the size of the animal. I process all of it myself.

We do the same, venison is the only red meat we normally eat at home.
