As many will recall we had a GTG last April. Before the GTG we also seemed to get an abundance of rain. Rain causes mud and very soft ground. The first pictures are of one area that got tore up a bit. This is what that area looks like now. We're not done yet as there is still quite a bit to fill in at the end of where the sand is now but it will all get filled in before it is over. Those who were at the GTG also will remember where the lane curves and goes through a low area and that also got a bit muddy. We've hauled a lot of sand into that area so far and my haul more but it is now settling so that it is more solid and holds the tractor up nicely now without cutting in. We hope to do all the low areas like this over time. Another view of that low area. You can see the tractor tracks but they are not cutting in like they were before. No doubt all the rain we've had has helped to settle the sand and that is good.
