Does anyone here have a BBQ gun, and perhaps a rig to go with it.
How many know what one is.
I’ll post a picture of mine in a bit.
    Let’s see them……:ithappened:

Pretty cool, but not quite what I was thinking about.

A BBQ gun is a shiny 1911 or wheel gun in a nice leather holster. I don't have one, and don't really want one, but still like them.

I've never heard of that term.

I do have a nice shiny Smith & Wesson 4506 though. Denzel Washington thought it was good enough.

I can't afford the purdy pistols and leather.

I can probably manage one of these?

    There we go !!
That’s what I’m talking about. Very nice.
I’m surprised by the number of “ gun guys” that have never heard of or know what one is.

Here’s mine for now, someday I might step up a notch or two and find something flashier. IMG_1620.jpeg IMG_1619.jpeg IMG_1617.jpeg
I’m gonna see about upgrading the grips when I’m in Tulsa in April

We all have our areas of expertise. If it doesn't matter to me, I typically don't care enough to know about it. :D

Never heard the term. Where does the term come from?

I thought maybe it was a gun that you used to shoot something to make BBQ....

Back in the day…. Large social gatherings and bbqs where people would dress up and wear fancy guns for all to see and admire. Not sure but probably originated in Texas
