Last years barefootz would not burn for me no matter what I did. They just filled up the burn pot time after time. I ended up giving them away. Had high hopes for these

Same here, I was truly disappointed. I wonder if there is a date code on the bags, I didn't think of looking. Will got these and I wonder if they're possibly last season's?

I heard way back to 2013/14 might have had clinker issues.

Could be this seasons? Don't think they batch could or date the bags. The date in the corner is bag print date IIRC. But if it said 2015? ;)

Bags are roughly 1 month or so ahead of filling... Doesn't mean they didn't have left overs to get filled during the summer rush.

So late last season or early this season, Should be pretty close.

I don't know I picked these up in June before the price increase in July , next cold snap we get I'll toss a bag in one of the Harmans and see what happens .
Kinda pricey if they turn out to be not much more than a shoulder season pellet :(

This is ridiculous. I bought 5 bags of pennington last year to try and I have to manually empty the bag and snap all the long pellets. Never again with this junk pennington. Plus there burning cold. Less ashy than newp even gt plats. But never again

Love to learn a trick on how to break em up without sorting and snapping by hand. Throwing the bags on the ground and stomping on em didn't work. Usually just busted the bag open..........
