I mentioned that we had acquired a couple cases of bar oil recently.
My good friend, buZZsaw BRAD said we needed a thread on it...
So, show us some pictures of your hoard...

    Here's ours
10 gals of the Extreme in 5 qt jugs
12 gals of the Gard oil from RK...would have been more, but last store was sold out...:headbang::headbang:.
1 gal of Total a friend gave me, I like it.
So, 23 gals of pure bar oil 20240507_083448.jpg
When we got our first totes from an oil distributor, they had some clean oil left in them, most a light gear oil.
So we blended some with the Extreme oil. Runs great in the Echo saws...
Got 6.25 gals of blended 20240507_081522.jpg
Maybe this will last...until the next sale...:whistle::thumbs::thumbs::hair::hair:

Well that explains it. Now I understand why gas prices are so high. Its all your fault Jeff!

This will be one thread you wont see any pics from me. I think the most I ever had on hand at once was
4-5 gallons. I guess bar oil is one thing I'm not good at hoarding! :picard:

You have 5-1/2 gallons more than the average chainsaw owner.

Same here, buddy. In 2020 I had 5-6 gallons at my peak. S.O.P. for me since then is to always have 2 unopened gallons on the shelf, and 1 opened one in my milk crate full of goodies I take with me to whatever score I'm working on. At $15/gallon for TSC brand it's hard to justify stocking up right now. I think if the price moves at all (either way) I'll bite the bullet and pick up another 3 gallons. 5 on hand is enough peace of mind for me. It's not like I ever have a proportionate amount of fuel stocked up anyway. I do have enough 2 stroke oil to last me several years though :smoke:

Just paid $15 a gallon at TSC last week. Not stocking up at that price. Got two gallons and almost through the first already.

No pic but at my last job we were cleaning out a job storage container and it had a 55 gallon barrel or 85w-140. Boss man said make it disappear. I couldn't get it loaded fast enough.

I’m at 6 gallons currently. Been hitting the Atwoods and Menards at $7 gallon sales. Harvest King at Atwoods and Poulan Pro at Menards.

I’m slowly building bar oil inventory again, but at $15/gallon here in the good old Constipation State, it’s a slow painful process :picard:

Looks like TSC & RK are having a sale war. Both at $7.99/gal....CAM2 & Countyline.

I bought a gallon of this at Menards and it was 10 a gallon but it’s much tackier than cam mystic from rural king. Should have grabbed a few more.
