Was flipping through the TSC add today and came accross this sharpener. No reviews on it. Does anyone know anything about it?
1267718.jpeg it's listed as Trilink bar mounted sharpener

looks like a clone of the granberg sharpener which I have. I like mine, I still don't trust myself to do it by hand. Someday I suppose but I just like that I don't have to worry I didn't have the angle of the dangle correct on each stroke...

    The dangle angle is critical

Don't know what the price on the trilink is.....never seen one. Last time I looked I think the Granberg was under $40 on Amazon. I've had mine for probably 25 years and still going.

Had one similar to that it didn't slide as smoothly as my Granberg which I've had 40 years and still going strong.

I've got a Granberg as well, really like it, just don't force the file along the tooth, and it works just fine. I can file without it, but, like to check my results off and on with the Granberg.
