First I'm just a firewood cutter so I won't be running the saw a whole lot. My question is if you had to choose between two brands what would you choose lazer bars or forester bars? Thanks guys.

I think they are both decent mid range bars. Both are re-branded from other manufacturers. I've had a 20" Forester bar on my Dolmar 7900 for the past 11 years. Can't read the name anymore, but it still works fine after cutting well over a hundred cords.

I'd be more concerned with making sure you have a nice sharp chain.

    No experience with Lazer, but

I have a couple of the green Forester bars that are doing well after a hundred cord or so.

Not much help with the two brands listed. I run stihl oem or woodland pro bars. I live semi-close to Bailey’s, so I can purchase with no shipping. Use a sharp chain and it’s all good.
