Since neither one of my two closest Stihl dealers could manage to outfit me with a matched set of oversized felling dogs for the 362, I ended up ordering a set from Bailey's. Just trying to get my local dealers to order me a set of Stihl brand was a exercise in frustration. The first set I bought from the Stihl dealer was not a matched set, actually both were inside dogs and different sizes to boot. I traded the smaller one back for a second one of the bigger size, but they never could get me any outside dogs to match.

So, bottom line is I mounted the bigger Stihl inside dogs to both my 261 and the 462. And that worked good, as one big inside dog is all I need on those two saws, and put the Bailey's matched set on the 362.

I think this is going to work good. I like the bigger dogs on all of my saws, the stock ones are just too small to be very useful. The Stihl pull off dog in the picture is bigger then stock and got moved to the 261 CM. Even the 261 deserved a bigger dog, but it only needs the one inner dog.

Anyway, those Bailey's Pro Safety dogs are some bigger still then the larger Stihl dogs, and are supposed to be hardened or tempered steel, and just as thick. They hang down good, and should be better for noodling too, as a bonus. I have found that is when the bigger dogs come in pretty handy to hold the power head off of the end of the round when noodling.
